Profhilo H+L is a blend of Low and High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid created using IBSA’s patented NAHYCO® technology.
Profhilo’s endurance is boosted by this unique hybrid compound, which reduces degradation by 8 times that of Hyaluronic Acid alone.
Profhilo stimulates natural collagen formation and is classified as a skinbooster or moisturizing agent rather than a dermal filler.
Profhilo’s dual activity is due to its smart technology, which has both low and high molecular weight HA. Low molecular weight HA stimulates the formation of Hyaluronic Acid, whereas high molecular weight HA tightens the skin.
A highly pure stabilized hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin that is free of chemical cross-linking agents, making it the first organic injectable free of BDDE.
Hyaluronan has a concentration of 64 mg per 2 ml.

Administering Profhilo with a professional
It is recommended that one month following the first treatment, the second treatment be followed by a third treatment two months later.
A professional should repeat this operation twice a year.
The Bio Aesthetic places (BAP) approach, developed specifically for Profhilo, involves five injection places on each side of the face, in safe areas away from main vessels, where there is also improved absorption. This method has been shown to reduce risk while increasing spreadability.
The injection depth should be into the deep dermis utilizing the bolus technique and the sterile 29G needle provided. To decrease discomfort, a slow injection is required.
